Elisa graduated from UNSW Sydney in 2018 with a Bachelor of Optometry / Bachelor of Science (Honours). During her Honours research project, Elisa was part of a UNSW team researching the corneal staining effects of contact lens solutions. Elisa has since worked in clinical practice in Parramatta NSW.
Elisa’s supervisors are Professor Michael Kalloniatis and Dr Angelica Ly. Her PhD project, “Attitudes and Barriers to Care in Age-Related Macular Degeneration”, seeks to improve health literacy with respect to age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
