Welcoming Daniel
Welcoming one of our latest MPhil student Daniel Rafla to the CFEH team.
Daniel graduated from Deakin University in 2018 and began practicing optometry at a corporate practice in the Central Coast, NSW. Whilst there, he was involved in collaborative care for patients with glaucoma, AMD and diabetes with ophthalmologists and GPs in the area.
In late 2019, Daniel moved to another corporate practice in South-West Sydney, which had a similar demographic and role. During this time, he developed a keen interest in the diagnosis of glaucoma, especially in the assessment and treatment of low-tension glaucoma.
Daniel is excited to work with Dr Jack Phu during his MPhil studies to learn more about the clinical phenotypes of open angle glaucoma.
