Age related macular degeneration is a leading cause of vision impairment in the developed world. Whilst it is a topic which is extremely important to understand, it can be challenging to contain due to the wide-ranging research and terminology in the area. This talk will comprise of a series of case studies to highlight some key clinical features of AMD as well as summarize some recent AMD classification and risk assessment systems. This will develop your understanding of your AMD patients as well as improve your record keeping and communication with other practitioners.
